Advice on leeches non-medical

Same as with bats, you are best off ignoring them. Apparently if you catch them early you can apply salt, or burn them off. What I think doesn't work having tried it is trying to pinch the buggers once they are ensconced, tiny little thing thought it was a blackhead at first, pinched it when it was almost done it would have just dropped off and slithered away. Instead it just drove it deeper into the ankle. My Kurti PJs are quite handy with the narrow ankle band which does save the legs, but the sandals not much cop. Best not to walk around the forbidden forest of the ancient kings of Kandy when it's raining. They seem to travel then. Anyway from now on will try vipassana and just ignore them and not walk in the forbidden etc. As for the bat well not that impressed with its sonic ability I could see the door. I think it worked it out in the end.
