Sometimes I think journalists just make things up. So Sharmila Chanu has received another award. It was awarded last year but presented today it looks like. According to the Calcutta Telegraph http://www.telegraphindia.com/1100225/jsp/northeast/story_12146689.jsp about the same event she made no comment at all but appeared overwhelmed by the support and merely smiling sweetly. And according to the Huelyen News Service http://www.e-pao.net/GP.asp?src=18..250210.feb10 she made no comment but was in tears the whole time.
